Embracing imperfection means recognizing that imperfection happens and appreciating the value imperfection offers.
Is it OK to be imperfect?
Every single human in the world are beautifully imperfect and the more that we accept that being imperfect is okay, the better that our mental and physical health will become as a result of releasing the stress and worry associated with being perfect. There is no such thing as perfect. It’s unattainable. At best, it’s an ideal. At worst, it’s a cruel lie. Perfection doesn’t exist, but imperfection is very tangible. We’re all human. Therefore, none of us are perfect. Being human is messy on a daily basis. It’s about making mistakes and, hopefully, learning from those mistakes.
Our confidence is built upon how we see ourselves and our lack of confidence usually occurs because of a negative self-image. We all have a mental picture of ourselves that we carry around. If we’re feeling less than adequate, the mental picture we have of ourselves is less than adequate too. It doesn’t matter if that’s not the way other people see us. It’s what we believe that counts.
Tips for embracing yourself and building a positive self esteem:
Make Yourself the Priority: Add yourself to the top of the list. YOU are important.
Harness The Power Of The Three-Letter Word “Yet.” Whenever you make a statement of lack about yourself, such as “I am not brave,” or “I am not the type of person who takes risks” or … “is able to say ‘no’” or … “takes her own needs seriously,” add the word “yet” to the end of the sentence.
Daily positive habits and practices: Plan your Me-time daily. What do you want to do for yourself to feel happier and beautiful?
Listen to your inner voice: That voice inside your head is often very negative. The words that come out of your mouth flow from thoughts that are influenced by that inner voice. The words that come out of your mouth are also being heard by you. Your inner voice influences your outer voice and your outer voice influences your inner voice. It’s an ongoing and never-ending cycle.
Learn to recognize, embrace, and celebrate your unique talents! Always Stand up for what you believe in and you will gain the Self respect from yourself and Others around you!
Stop comparing yourself to others for that shit! Is soul destroying, it will only kill you mind, body & spirit! Accept Yourself- To be truly “beautiful” means to be COMPLETELY yourself. When you stop hating on yourself! You don’t need to be accepted or validated by others around you.
Daily Affirmations for Loving Yourself :
- Yes! i am strong!
- Yes! I am weak!
- Yes! I am flawed, Yes! I am broken.
- Yes! I am vulnerable.

- And despite these “flaws”, it’s ok!
