Everything is your thought. Thoughts are not created within you, they exist in the space around and you simply catch them. Thoughts are not created within you; they exist in the space around and you simply catch them. The kind of thoughts you catch depends on your individual desires.
What is it that determines the kind of thoughts you will catch?
The answer lies in the whirling pools of energy called chakras. It is a common misperception that chakras reside in the physical body.
Chakras are the energy centers in our subtle bodies and their overall health depends on many factors. One of the most important factors that affect our chakras is our emotions. When we are committed to conscious living and take every moment of our lives with deep awareness our chakras respond to positive vibes and work properly. However, our negative emotions can cause blocks in our chakras and serious health problems. A chakra however is not physical. It is etheric and one requires the development of higher senses through various practices like yoga, meditation, reiki, etc. It is made of subtle prana and controls the vitals of the body. There are seven major chakras in the body, each pertaining to specific desires. Your thoughts and desires are reflective of the chakra that is most dominant in your energy body. Thus, your thoughts are a mirror of what you are.
Which emotions/ thoughts block our chakras?
When your chakras are blocked, your energy flow is also blocked, and you suffer various emotional imbalances such as anxiety, depression, anger, grief, and fear. You can clear these blockages by meditation, yoga, or even with the food you eat.
Here are some of the common negative thoughts and emotions that could block our chakras:
- Guilt:
Guilt is one of the most self-destructive negative emotions that take away lots of energy. Everyone who experiences it feels like a sticky cocoon of hopelessness. Therefore, it is so important to get rid of guilt as quickly as possible. Otherwise, it will take all your energy. - Shame and Self-rejection:
The feeling of shame is experienced together with the feeling of one’s own wrongness, badness, and total inadequacy. Now, if you experience that, it means you’re under the influence of toxic shame. Toxic shame often leads to other serious problems such as low self-esteem, lack of willpower, nervousness, and poor memory. - Grief:
When we lose someone we love our heart chakra gets blocked with grief. Emotional pain that seems like it will never end leaves a scar on our hearts. - Dishonesty with ourselves and others:
This can block our throat chakra. Blockage of this chakra occurs if a person chooses to lie not only to others but also to himself/herself. Just make a rule to never respond with lies to lies and never lie to yourself. Be honest with yourself and others. - Lack of trust:
When we are ready to go with the flow; keep resisting/ doubting the guidance we get; our intuition center gets blocked. This blockage leads to self-doubt. Negative thinking, depression, insecurities etc. Remember that any healing should come from deep self-love but not from self-judgment or self-rejection!
Affirmations to recharge your chakras:
- “I am safe.”
- “I belong to the universal oneness, and I create with love.”
- “I am powerful.”
- “I am loved.”
- “I speak my truth.”
- “I am open to and trust the universe.”
- “I am connecting to spiritual consciousness.”
The first steps to alleviating your anxiety are as simple as brightening up your living space and eating healthier. Try a healing Reiki session to understand your chakra blockages and blocked emotions. Once you have recognized your symptoms and their association with your chakras, it will be easier to balance your energy flow and help your anxiety melt away.
Time to pay attention to your Chakras!
Namaste!
