Abundance, in general, refers to a plentiful, over-sufficient supply of something, so to manifest it means to make it come true. It’s also categorized in a number of ways, but the most common is its financial classification.
What is an Abundance Mindset?
An “abundance mindset” is a way of thinking that focuses on receiving versus focusing on the absence of things. A key tenet of an abundance mindset is shifting your focus from scarcity (the things we lack) to abundance (the things we have).
IT ALL STARTS WITH A DECISION TO SEE OURSELVES DIFFERENTLY
While I can certainly recommend some practical tools to cultivate that self-love and shift in self-image, it is so important to know the key is just deciding we will see ourselves differently plain and simple. I’ll include some suggestions at the end of this post though.
I know our mind really doesn’t comprehend that because it is very action-oriented and as such, gets very fixated on tools, techniques, and processes. And those things certainly have their place and can be very valuable as they allow us to consciously engage with our energy.
Below are some daily tips you can practice for your Abundance Mindset:
- Begin from a place of love.
The first step toward manifesting abundance is to believe you are worthy of it. By welcoming the highest good into your life with your whole mind, body, and spirit, you will ensure that what comes to you will be driven by the same positive energy
- Believe in yourself as worthy and valuable.
This is tied in with your perception of who you are as a person, and what you deserve to have in life. Indicators that you are lacking in this area would include feelings of negativity (or downright hatred) about yourself, a feeling of hopelessness and lack (or emptiness), and a defeated acceptance of the negative aspects of your life. Your affirmation “I am enough”.
- See the bigger picture
Those with an abundant mindset are renowned for thinking big. They are able to see the bigger picture, and not get caught up in the minor details and stressors of day to day life. The first step to achieving goals is to set those goals.
- See the good in EVERY situation
To cultivate an abundance mindset, resolve to become overwhelmingly positive about your own life. And this is very possible because positivity is a choice.
- Be Kind to Yourself
Most of us have a very negative, consistent stream of thought that we’re not even aware of most of the time. Now and then you might become aware that you’re berating yourself, or bullying yourself, or otherwise speaking negatively to yourself. This practice will continue to damage your self-image!
- Practice gratitude
We are aware that gratitude is the key to confidence. And the role that gratitude plays in realizing the abundance of good in your life is a big part of that. Your affirmation ” I am whole and complete in my life”.
- Be proactive
There is a certain element of trust involved in cultivating an abundance mindset. You must believe and trust that there are endless opportunities available to you. But that doesn’t mean that you should sit back and be a passive participant in your own life! Rather, you must realize that you are responsible.
- Believe you deserve it
More important than maybe any of these steps to cultivating an abundance mindset is believing that you can.
Bottom Line: The brain is funny that way. If you tell yourself something enough times, or if you get told something enough times, you will eventually believe it to be true.
Therefore, it crucial that you master your internal thoughts for the better to begin cultivating your own abundance mindset. Get started adopting an abundance mindset with these tips today – and let me know how it goes!
