There’s something about a mango that’s just so quintessentially summer. They’re bright and juicy, with a slightly bite to their sweetness. They are fabulous on their own, sliced into large wedges and eaten by hand, juices dripping stickily down your arm.
Hope you try out this recipe and feel refreshed!
Ingredients:
- 1 mango (large, peeled and cut into cubes, about 1 1/2 cups diced mango)
- 1 1/2 cups non-fat yogurt (plain or greek yogurt)
- 1/2 cup skim milk (chilled water, or use, for a creamier drink)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 ground cardamom (optional, but it was a nice addition)
- Ice cubes (optional, I tried it both ways and preferred it without the ice cubes)
Directions:
Blend everything but the ice cubes in the blender until the honey is dissolved.
Add the ice and blend until frothy!
